about

Burnt Oak Community Food Bank is a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity and hardship across Burnt Oak, Harrow and the surrounding areas.

Founded on the principles of compassion, dignity and community spirit, we provide bi-weekly food bank services, offering fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, toiletries, clothing and other essential household items to those who need them most. During the weeks the food bank is not operating, we operate as a Food Hub for other charities to access provisions thus ensuring the wider community continues to have access to food, fresh produce and ongoing community support.

We believe that strong communities are built through connection and support. Alongside our food distribution programme, we offer a range of free activities and services, including football sessions, health checks, exercise classes, cooking demonstrations, as well as advice and guidance from specialist support workers. These initiatives help improve wellbeing, promote healthy lifestyles and connect residents with the resources available to them.

Driven by dedicated volunteers and a shared commitment to positive change, we are building a stronger, healthier and more resilient community for everyone. Many of whom are local residents who have benefited from community support themselves and now choose to give back. Their commitment experience and passion are at the heart of everything we do.

At Burnt Oak Community Food Bank, we are more than a food bank - we are a community hub where people come together, support one another and build a stronger, healthier and more connected community for everyone.
